Ok so baby nugget is 2 weeks old today and he is still nameless, I have managed to narrow the list down to 4 but can't decide which to choose. Just hoping for some opinions/suggestions to get it down to at least 2 if not the 1, so there's
Isaac (liked from the beginning on and off)
Zachary (his father doesn't like it)
Vinnie (New and random name that popped into my head last week)
And finally Dominic (father's fave and I quite like it, everyone else doesn't)
Thank you in advance Smile

I like Dominic the best out of your list.

PrincessWatermelon · 10/06/2014 09:54

Isaac. Dislike Vinnie intensely and not wild on Dominic. Wouldn't choose a name your DH doesn't like.

picnicbasketcase · 10/06/2014 09:56

Isaac is my favourite from the list Smile

rootypig · 10/06/2014 09:57

Isaac is a lovely name. I like Zachary, but you can't go for something one parent doesn't like. Vinnie is awful, and Dominic has always seemed a bit effete to me.

Congrats on the little one!

ILoveCoreyHaim · 10/06/2014 09:57

My DB just called his ds dominic. Wasn't keen at first but I like it now.

rootypig · 10/06/2014 09:58

Oh, I always think Nathaniel / Nate is in the same vein as Isaac and Zachary, have you considered it?

VanGogh · 10/06/2014 09:58

Dominic.
Not to usual around here too.
Isaac is also a luffly name.

Don't choose a name his father doesn't like

InanimateCarbonRod · 10/06/2014 10:00

Dominic - classy, sturdy and just that bit unusual.

judypoops · 10/06/2014 10:06

Dominic Isaac is lovely

elQuintoConyo · 10/06/2014 10:31

Dominic is great - if it isn't shortened. When a friend tells her ds "Domi, no" it just sounds awful, to my ears.

Isaac is lovely.

Vinnie is ACE, but I wouldn't use it, unless I could be sure ds would grow up to be a pool hall shark Grin

I find Zachary very blah, and nn Zac bloody horrible.

  • apologies for all those with ds named any of the above. Fwiw, apparently our ds has a dog's name Grin
OublietteBravo · 10/06/2014 10:38

Isaac or Dominic
(or if you really love Vinnie, then go with Vincent)

Allalonenow · 10/06/2014 10:40

Isaac and Dominic are super names and I really like them.

Not too keen on Vinnie, though I do like Vincent, I've a friend with that name and he keeps to the full version.

MrsBungle · 10/06/2014 10:41

Isaac.

RiverTam · 10/06/2014 10:43

Isaac is lovely.

I like Zachary but hate Zach.

Vinnie - noooo!

Dominic - too Tory posh boy for me, sorry!

Pebbles0934 · 10/06/2014 10:43

Isaac best.... I think?! Could call him Zac for short aswell if you like Zachary?

How about Gregory? Greg is a good name for a boy and fits your trend?

Vinnie doesn't fit your other names?!
Dominic will be Dom..... Does this bother you?

Thurlow · 10/06/2014 10:43

Isaac is my favourite, but Dominic is a great name too. Why does no one else like it?!

Dominic Isaac works really well together.

spiderlight · 10/06/2014 10:45

Isaac is the best by miles!

Fideliney · 10/06/2014 10:45

Isaac is lovely.

Dominic is also nice in a cool way.

MerdeAlor · 10/06/2014 10:46

Dominic Isaac - gorgeous!

LeftyLoony · 10/06/2014 10:47

Imagine shouting it across a park.
Whichever you're happiest with based on that wins.

Holfin · 10/06/2014 10:57

I like Isaac the best followed by Zachary. Congratulations on your DS.
