Yes, I know neither of them are the most interesting names, but they are the only two DH and I both like.

Middle name will be David. Little brother to Eve.

Samuel

Why don't you choose the one YOU love most?

TheBookofRuth · 14/05/2014 08:47

Because I don't LOVE either of them I love Barnaby and Leo, but DH won't even consider either.

Joshua

Planning to use Samuel for DS, due this summer, but couldn't use Joshua anyway because DB and DSIL have bagsied it Grin

They're both lovely names though, OP, so you can't go wrong.

Samuel

Dizzywhore · 14/05/2014 08:49

TheBookofRuth · 14/05/2014 08:49

Aww, congrats. I'm due end if August. But I tell you what: I won't 'bagsie' Samuel if you want to use it - just because I'm nice like that Grin

Joshua

bruffin · 14/05/2014 09:34

I got put of Joshua by someone on another forum where they referred to their child's name. She always referred to her ds as Joshua and it didnt sound right, but I know loads of teenage boys called Josh who are really lovely. I am also a bit biased as have a Samuel, but he is known as Sam.

IsabellaRoarsome · 14/05/2014 09:38

Samuel

hatsybatsy · 14/05/2014 09:52

erm - if you don't love either of them then maybe you need to keep searching for a name you both love?

You love Barnaby and Leo - but your dh is more conservative?

Liam/Leon
Freddy/Archie
Jacob/Jonah/Jake
Frank

Just some sibling names/similar names to the ones you love....

TheBookofRuth · 14/05/2014 10:20

There are no boys names we both love. Believe me, we have looked.

Joshua! but I agree with the poster who suggested Jacob! One of my favourite names and I can't use it as it's my brothers name and he said I can't :(

alita7 · 14/05/2014 10:57

oh and I know that feeling Ruth... dp has either vetoed the names I love or we can't use them due to other people in the family... and I spent most of my childhood flicking through name books and daydreaming about having kids!

meditrina · 14/05/2014 11:00

Both lovely.

I prefer Joshua.
