Hayden or Leon?

Love both these names and can't decide between them so I'd love your thoughts please!

I know I'm going to be outing myself but I think it's necessary to say I'm a Lisa... which puts me off Leon a little...
Our surname is Aldridge, DS1 is Nathan.

What do you think? Thanks!

LEON. For absolute sure

MerryMarigold · 13/02/2014 14:39

I'd go for Leon, which I like. I think it's ok with Lisa as you're not going to be paired up much. Leon and Nathan are nice together.

MerryMarigold · 13/02/2014 14:39

(I don't like Hayden)

lljkk · 13/02/2014 14:40

Hayden is a family name for us so I like it for that.
Hayden attracts the Chav label on MN, beware.
I really don't like Leon, it screams Naff to me, but fairly popular on MN.

TheNumberfaker · 13/02/2014 14:41

Leon. Much better than Hayden!

MrsBungle · 13/02/2014 14:41

I like both. I think Leon and Lisa are fine together.

Innogen · 13/02/2014 14:41

Hate Leon.

Only ever seen Hayden spelled like the composer. But I like both spellings. Haydn look more familiar to me though.

MerryMarigold · 13/02/2014 14:42

I only know 2 Leons who are not naff at all, but from E Europe. It also makes me think of Trotsky, who was a pretty cool guy.

MerryMarigold · 13/02/2014 14:42

Is it pronounced High-dun then?

Fifyfomum · 13/02/2014 14:43

Leon.

Hayden, Jayden, kayden = done to death and chavy mainstream.

ChaffinchOfDoom · 13/02/2014 14:45

Hayden is my preference :-) Leon nice too though

ThursdayLast · 13/02/2014 14:47

Leon for sure.
I can't put my finger on why I don't really like Hayden

Reallynotsuretbh · 13/02/2014 14:51

Nathan and Hayden together doesn't work IMO so vote for Leon.

DiggoryIntGood · 13/02/2014 14:52

Wow, quick responses, thanks!

I think I would definitely go for Leon if my name wasn't Lisa - do they sound too similar or am I overthinking it?

Reallynotsuretbh · 13/02/2014 14:55

Leon and Lisa are fine together honestly

ViviPru · 13/02/2014 14:57

no not too similar at all!

Devora · 13/02/2014 14:58

Leon

Beachballfamily · 13/02/2014 15:00

You're over thinking it! They start with the same letter - similarity ends there.

UriGeller · 13/02/2014 17:01

Its got to be Leon.

Hayden..../Jayden/Kayden/Brayden etc.

scarletforya · 13/02/2014 17:04

thegreatgatsby101 · 13/02/2014 17:20

Leon for sure!
Hayden is way too surname/American for me!

Leeds2 · 13/02/2014 17:21

ZingSweetApple · 13/02/2014 17:43
