So, am expecting twins, don't know the sexes and so stuck on names!
Already have:
Jasmine Alba
Sasha Violet
Theo James
Harriet Marie

So far we like:
Girl (1st choice): Bea (absolute definite) NO MIDDLE NAME!!!!
Girl (2nd choice): no idea but names we like are: Xanthe, Bethan, Juliet, Willow (not sure on this one) open to any other suggestions!!
Boy (1st choice): Toby John, absolute definite.
Boy (2nd choice): again, nothing but like: Arthur, Max, Charlie, Peter

Names we love but can't use are:
Olivia
Emily
Isabel

George
William

I'm not keen on overly traditional names for girls e.g. Charlotte, Elizabeth etc. But don't really have a specific style for boys! Please help, thanks!

If my twins had been girls they would have been called Holly and Molly!!

JusticeOfThePeas · 02/02/2014 18:11

Don't give them names that start with the same letter e.g. bea and bethan. Can cause problems with credit ratings etc. same initial, same dob etc.

other than that congratulations. twins are great.Smile

Hopefully you get one of each and then problem solved!

Bowlersarm · 02/02/2014 18:12

Congratulations.

Love your existing DC names.

Can I just point out if you have b/g therefore Toby and Bea - Bea is Toby without the To bit. Sounds very similar.

Jemma1111 · 02/02/2014 18:18

How about

Jude, Max or Alex

Lexie, Ella, Nancy

Artandco · 02/02/2014 18:31

I prefer tobias John, as it flows better, not sure if this is an option though

Bea Estelle
Bea Evelyn

Penelope xanthe

Florian Otis
Arthur Charles
Conrad Alexander
Maxian Arthur
Magnus Alexander

PinkGlove · 02/02/2014 18:32

Bea and Martha

Toby and Benjamin

Lemon1234 · 02/02/2014 18:36

I see what you mean with Toby and Bea, a definite no no! Love the suggestion of Tobias John! What about Felix for the other boys name? Also love suggestion of Benjamin! Really like Bea Evelyn, but I'm not sure if it's "the one"!!! Also like the suggestions of Nancy and Ella. Not keen on Penelope or Holly and can't use Molly! Thank you, keep the suggestions coming!

Toby and bea makes me think of " to be or not to be" a bit. All lovely name choices though!

Artandco · 02/02/2014 18:41

Felix William
Felix Alexander

Tobias and Felix would work well.

Is bea definite or would you put Beatrix? If so I wouldn't have Felix and Beatrix together but Beatrix and tobias is nice

Lemon1234 · 02/02/2014 18:47

Toby is ruled out because of it being too similar to Bea! Yes Bea is a definite although I did consider Pheobe as a full name, however there is no guarantee she will end up as Bea! Really like Felix Alexander!

I think Bea Clementine would be lovely!

Gg

Bea and Polly
Bea and Iris
Bea and Pearl
Bea and Florence
Bea and Flora
Bea and Fleur
Bea and Tessa
Bea and Jemima
Bea and Kitty
Bea and Cassia

Bb

Toby and Jonah
Toby and Josiah
Toby and Barnaby
Toby and Ezra
Toby and Arlo
Toby and Asa
Toby and Eli

PinkGlove · 02/02/2014 19:19

Think you need a longer 3 syllable MN for Bea, if it's just Bea and not Beatrix (which I do love)

Bea Cecilia
Bea Tabitha
Bea Matilda

Lemon1234 · 02/02/2014 19:57

Oooohhh I love love love Tessa!!! Possible middle name Pearl? Quite like Ezra as well: Tobias John and Felix Ezra? Hmmm so much to think about!!!!! I think the 3 syllable middle name is a great idea, like Mathilda but can't use it :( Bea Amelia has a nice ring to it, thoughts?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 02/02/2014 20:04

All lovely names
As someone said through to-by and bea could be a bit much
Toby and Bea sounds odd

AGoodPirate · 02/02/2014 20:04

It sounds like "be a melia", so I vote no!

How about Bea and Erin or Zoe, or Seren?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 02/02/2014 20:05

Sorry for some reasons couldnt see the second half of the posts

DitsyDonkey · 02/02/2014 20:06

Bea Amelia is lovely, could you use Mathilda as a middle name for Bea or is it a total no go? Tobias John and Felix Ezra would be pretty cool!

Lemon1234 · 02/02/2014 20:14

Dh dosnt like the name Mathilda but I will definitely try to talk him round! Still love the names Peter and Xanthe though, so difficult! Love all these suggestions, help so much!

Love Theodora, but yes with Theo, it can't happen! Really like your suggestion of Finley, and Kate is gorgeous, Tessa Kate has a nice ring to it!

Britishseamonkey · 02/02/2014 21:54

The Bea I know is pronounced more like 'baya' which sounds nothing like Toby x

Bowlersarm · 02/02/2014 22:05

Love Tessa!
