Pick which one you think is the best.

I don't want the name to be really common! Finlay was our first choice but realised how popular it is now, hence why in considering other names.

I've never heard of Khylan - is it a name connected to a different country?

Harley is quite sweet.

How about Heath, Johan or Bradley?

Really don't like Harley or Khylan - not mad on Finlay either but best of 3 if I had to pick one.

ComposHat · 17/01/2014 07:39

Don't you have two yhreads running on this?

SpookedMackerel · 17/01/2014 07:40

I would pick Finlay.

Really don't like Khylan.

All the Harleys I have known are girls.

saggybaps · 17/01/2014 07:46

Finlay is a really nice name.
Harley is good.
Khylan... No.

I really like Heath too.

MajesticWhine · 17/01/2014 07:47

Finlay is best.

Janorisa · 17/01/2014 07:50

Not keen on Khylan or Harley...I would choose Finlay

mrsbug · 17/01/2014 08:12

In order of preference

Finlay (by a long way)
Then Harley
Then khylan

lastnightopenedmyeyes · 17/01/2014 08:26

To be blunt I don't like any of these but if I was forced to pick one it would be Finlay.

notso · 17/01/2014 08:27

Finlay popular because it's such a lovely name.

Harley, I wanted a DC called this when I was 13.

Khylan it just sounds naff sorry.

curlew · 17/01/2014 08:28

What about Finnian?

Or just Finn?

HyvaPaiva · 17/01/2014 08:28

I don't like any of them at all but since you've asked us to pick between these, Finlay. It's much, much better than the others. And definitely spelt with the 'a' as you have rather than an 'e'.

ThistletoeAndWine · 17/01/2014 08:28

Why two threads?

ThisIsYourSong · 17/01/2014 08:28

What mrsbug said.

What about Harvey?

dunsborough · 17/01/2014 08:29

Finlay.

Others are not good. Sorry.

BobaFetaCheese · 17/01/2014 08:31

I don't like any of them tbh. But if you love Finlay who cares if it's popular?
Your ds will go to school and probably be one of a few Finns, but you never know where he'll end up, if he lives abroad/you move abroad he'll be the only one there.

I went for a name I didn't love for Ds2, he's 5m, was nameless for 2weeks, had his name changed at 1m and I still don't like it!

newyearhere · 17/01/2014 09:36

Harley

LottieJenkins · 17/01/2014 09:59

Another wondering why you need two threads............ I suggested Flynn before!

Timetoask · 17/01/2014 10:02

From your list I only like Finlay, its a lovely name.
I don't like the other two at all.

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 17/01/2014 10:02

None of them. I wish i had a penny for every finley i've heard of. Finley is a fire engine-not a child. Harley and khylan are worse.

knickernicker · 17/01/2014 10:03

No, no and definitely no.

MimiSunshine · 17/01/2014 12:50

There is a Harley in my extended family. It's a good name go for it.
Yes his mum got a few "as in motorbike" comments but she managed to not respond with "are you always so original with your comedy" and everyone got used to it, now it's just his name and no one batts an eye lid.

Artandco · 17/01/2014 12:51

What about kian?
