Ive always loved it, since watching My Girl when I was little...

But people are going to think Darth, arent they Sad

It hadnt to me till I mentioned the name on a board here a year or so ago to be given an "as in Darth?" response.

Not pg yet but I like to keep a list on my phone as I really dont think I will ever find a name as much as I love my dds.

Not keen but if you have liked it since you were young then don't let others put you off. You have to be happy with the name.

Oh, I always thought Vida was pronounced Vee-da, like La vida loca?

Is Veda pronounced Vader like Darth then? I've never really heard it before.

Yeah it was definitely Vada not Veda which is the best bread ever! Sorry OP, you could probably get away with it so long as you're not in NI.

My girl is one of my favourite films and I loved the name Vada. Unfortunately dh vetoed it but in hindsight I would have pushed harder to get my way. Do it!
