My dh was the same when we had dd2. He hated every name that I loved and wouldn't compromise.

In the end I just let him choose. She doesn't have a name that I love but I do like it and it suits her. He did let me have the middle name I wanted though.

the problem we have is that we have too many family members or friends with lovely names!! he did say he liked Bethan it doesn't really go with our surname.... boooo....

I'm sorry too, but I hate that stupid saying. He has no choice in the matter. He cannot possibly carry the baby no matter how much he might want to. They are equal parents, they should have an equal decision about the name.

Surely not if she doesn't like it equal partners my eye.

A family I know have Chloe, Holly and Amy, so based on what he liked then I'd suggest Chloe
