Sorry if this has been done to death but I'm due to give birth to DS2 in 6 weeks and I still haven't fallen in love with a name. DS is Henry so I thought I might find inspiration from this.

Mine are:

John (DS' middle name) and
Arthur (I like this and think it goes but DH isn't keen)

Donald and Nicholas James
Great uncles are Sonny and Leonard

I'd love to use them if our baby is a boy but they don't really go with our surname.

Arthur is a lovely, strong but kind name.

My grandfather's were called Felice and Alfred.

Three of my great-grandfather's had names that could be shortened to Fred - Alfred, Alfredo and Frederick. Don't know what the other one was called!

Mim78 · 18/11/2013 16:22

Sorry - grandfathers and great- grandfathers. Don't know what came over me!

SparklyFucker · 18/11/2013 16:30

My grandfathers were called William and Frank (late 1910's). Their grandfathers (my great great grandfathers) were John, William, Harry, Edward, Aaron, Richard, Ephraim, and Jervis - spanning the 1840's-1860's.

Mine and DHs grandads were:
George

Not a lot to love there, I'm afraid Grin George is the best one on the list.

MadameLeBean , my grandpa was a Clifford too! Not many of them around, but unless there are some pretty big family secrets, we can't be related Grin

Not a name that is likely to make a comeback any time soon, I think...
