Sorry if this has been done to death but I'm due to give birth to DS2 in 6 weeks and I still haven't fallen in love with a name. DS is Henry so I thought I might find inspiration from this.

Mine are:

John (DS' middle name) and
Arthur (I like this and think it goes but DH isn't keen)

William and Philip

DS2 has his g-g-father's, gfather's and g-gfather's names respectively.

DS3 has the other gfather's name, plus his uncle and great-uncle, and his other great-uncle's middle name.

DS1 has A Name We Liked, and a family surname for a middle name.

What a muddle!

Someone said Elias, that is a great name, wish I'd known it for ds2.

My granddads were called William and Ernest. Not sure about dh's, he never met either of them and doesn't talk about them ever. I love the name William but it was poo-pooed, and Ernest is very, well, old-fashioned and what with dh being French, just a bit too British for him!

Good luck finding a name. We had such a lot of trouble with ds2, not agreeing on one at all. I went with his actual name for want of a better one but absolutely love it now, and it suits him perfectly.

DH's are Kenneth and George.

We named DS1 (inadvertently) after my GGF Stanley.

I love traditional names. I think Arthur is fab. I knew an Arthur at school who was really nice.
