Clara or Claudia?

Yes, I've asked before, still can't decide.

If you're fed up of reading about the same names, don't admonish - just ignore!

Love both - which goes better with your surname? Or failing that, see which she looks more like.

IslaValargeone · 11/11/2013 19:28

Clara

Clara makes me think of graceful, elegant, modest but confident and intelligent
Claudia makes me think of beautiful but maybe a bit manipulative

No idea where these ideas come from, just my initial reaction to names!?

CPtart · 11/11/2013 20:11

Clara.
I know a couple of Claudia's and they are real madams!

Kantha · 11/11/2013 20:24

Claudia, beautiful but more fussy

Mutteroo · 11/11/2013 22:24

Clara could suit any character, where as a Claudia needs to be more assured. Don't know why I think this but its just how I envisage the names?

weirdthing · 11/11/2013 22:30

Claudia means lame.

ZeroTolerance · 11/11/2013 22:34

And there it is. Got to 24 posts this time.

Clara definitely. Beautiful and feminine.

Claudia sounds harsh and has a strong association with the Latin claudus - disabled/lame.
