Martha or Claudia

Which is nicer? I love both but they are quite different in feel...

I like both. Only reason I wouldn't choose Claudia personally would be to avoid a lifetime of mispronunciation (for some it's Cloud-ia, others Claw-dia). Depends whether that bothers you or not. But a pretty name (am biased, have a fabulous friend of the Cloud-ia variety).

Marta is very popular in Latin countries and it sounds nicer to my forrin ears because I don't particularly like the "th" sound.

Martha is nice if a teensy bit dowdy.

Wow, huge push towards Martha. It is adorable isn't it? Claudia more beautiful I reckon but Martha cuter on a baby...hmm.

People are only babies for a tiny percentage of their life though, so the 'cuter on a baby' aspect wouldn't be a huge factor for me.
