Kira Sadie?

Surname is long and begins with an 'S' - I did want 'Kira Isobel Sadie' but worried it would be too much, liked the initials though she's due on the 11th so really need definitive 'it's great' or 'it's crap' lol thanks much

Sadie is marginally better, and it's not a made up spelling.

Hmm I really like Kira and its not a made up spelling, just a variation of Keira ect - I'll have to. Put more thought into it I think. Want unusual, sweet, fairly short. Took me for-ev-er to decide on that, too 'sigh'

I don't see anything wrong with the name Kira. It's pretty! And there's been people with this name since at least the early 1900's. I believe it's a Russian variant of the name?

I'm a fan of Sadie.

A bit unsure if Kira. I wouldn't know how to pronounce it, so she would have a problem with that all her life I would imagine.

Kira is a legitimate name OP, Keira on the other hand isn't!

Kira is Russian in origin whereas Keira is just a mangling of the Irish Ciara.

I disagree with PPs and think that Kira is so obviously a legitimate name. Keira looks less authentic.

...but Keira the way it's "usually" spelt, here in England (can't speak for other areas), in this Century. Therefore, to spell it a different way - even if it were a 400 yr old spelling, makes it the odd one out and will not be what people 'assume'.

I think the pronunciation of Kira is pretty obvious.

I knew a girl at school called Kira, as she was nice I think the name has good connotations. I always thought that or Kiera was the usual spelling to get it pronounced Ki-ra. Keira just makes me think Kair-a. Not so keen on Sadie though.
