Take advice but make the choice yourself for your own reasons. You can't predict what will go in and out of fashion. I used to go to school with a little boy called "Harry Potter"; he was very popular as the book was published when he was 7!

Could you bare to wait until baby is born? She might just look like a Phoebe, Esme etc. Good luck!

That's a great list, I'd struggle to decide but would probably go for Matilda. But I love Florence too! And esme..oh bugger I can't choose sorry .

Congratulations. I was going to choose Esme and Florence from your list I hope you are enjoying time with your new little girl.

I wanted to call DD1 Phoebe (spelt Phebe, like in Eight Cousins) but Friends was really popular, and I worried people would think I had got the idea from shock! Horror! a television programme, so I didn't.

What a silly thing to think. No one would even think about Friends, these days.

So I lost my chance, but I think you should snap it up!

Oh, whoops! Well, it's a lovely choice, anyway. But Phebe would be better.
