Don't decide until she's born - you have another couple of weeks. Just have a look at her and see which one you think suits. I think once you meet her it might suddenly be much easier to decide.

Why don't you meet your daughter first? Then the decision will be far easier.

What a gorgeous list!
Florence- love love love hoping to use for future dd
Phoebe- great name, not sure on nicknames
Matilda- love but very popular here (sw London) dd has 3 in her music class of 12 children!!
Amelia- nice name. Most popular name in uk at the moment I think but popular for a reason.. Because its beautiful.
Esme- like but I know two Esmes with different pronunciations ES-MEE and ES-MAY. May not bother you but you may be forever correcting people..

Just to say, I think they are all lovely names & we wanted Phoebe for a potential girl, until I met DS1's pre-school classmates, one of whom was called Phoebe, pronounced Phaybay (think strong Essex accent).

Matilda Phoebe

I vote for Phoebe, followed by Matilda (because I love the nn Tilly)

Personally I wouldn't go for Amelia because there are so many Amelia /Amelie / Emily / Millies around - and they are all likely to be shortened to Millie at some point.

Good Luck for Monday and hopefully when you meet your DD you will be able to see which name suits her best.

They are all very 'now'. Esme is probably the best as long as it's pronounced Esmee not the dreadful Esmay.

Thanks all- had another deliberation last night (obviously have to listen to demands of DS1 (13) and DS2 (10)

Decided on Esme (pronounced Esmee) Florence.

Had some twinges today so may be here over the weekend....
