gymboywalton · 29/07/2013 16:13

alex

jason is a bit70's scally

LittleDirewolfBitJoffrey · 29/07/2013 16:15

Alex.

Allalonenow · 29/07/2013 16:16

Jason, because Alex is a diminutive.

mirren3 · 29/07/2013 16:19

Alex, never been keen on Jason.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/07/2013 16:25

I don't like either tbh, but prefer Alex.

Dontletthemgetyoudown · 29/07/2013 16:27

Out of those two, Alex

Kassett · 29/07/2013 16:27

none of them and certainly not Alex or Jason

looki · 29/07/2013 16:28

Alex. Never liked the name Jason. It fits in the Wayne/Warren category for me.

usualsuspect · 29/07/2013 16:31

I like Alex as a name on its own.

I quite like Jason too, but prefer Alex.

squoosh · 29/07/2013 16:46

Alex. Cooler, fresher, snappier.

Jason is deadly dated. It needs to sleep for another 30 years before being revived.

Floggingmolly · 29/07/2013 16:47

Alex.

Spartacus101 · 29/07/2013 16:50

alex, jason was common (as in lots of them around) when i was young in the 80s.

Alex by far!

Jason is in the Shayne, Wayne, Barry genre to me.

Littlecherublegs · 29/07/2013 17:09

Alex.

I don't mind Jason and it is less popular than Alex at the moment but as others have suggested I see it in the category as the likes of Shane, Wayne, Daryl, Brett, Gary...

JamieandtheMagicTorch · 29/07/2013 17:10

Alex

But I have developed a sneaky liking for Jason. I have no idea why. It is 70's-tastic

You could shorten to Jay and that's sexier

usualsuspect · 29/07/2013 17:35

I love the name Jay.

Mollie272 · 29/07/2013 17:40

Alex - definitely

Weegiemum · 29/07/2013 17:44

Neither, really.

If pushed I'd go for Alexander, nn Xander.

Not Jason. I had a very difficult Jason in my primary school class c. 1978 and I could never use it. It is rather 70's-tactic, not yet due a revival.

GoodMorningMoon · 29/07/2013 17:45

Alex, can be a diminutive of anything.

CPtart · 29/07/2013 17:51

Alex, despite its popularity. Alexander on the birth certificate though.

Alex, if short for Alexander. Not so keen on Jason, though not sure why. It's a good, classic name, and Jay is lovely.

BikeRunSki · 29/07/2013 18:00

Alex, but as an abbreviation of Alexander. Timeless.
