I really love the name Jack and have done for years. I am 30 weeks pregnant and thought we had the boys name sorted (Elodie Eve or Isabelle Rose for a girl) as DH also loved it but he has announced that a bloke at work who is a "complete chav" has called his son Jack and that has totally put him off the name and he isn't sure anymore. He is now advocating Jacob instead. I think Jack is a lovely old fashioned name and ties in well with our farming background. I know it's really popular but I don't care. How can I get him to stop worrying about other people? Or have you changed your planned DC name after hearing it used by someone else? He never socialises with this bloke and is based at a totally different location at work!
