I have an Effie, Honor, Clemency and Noah. I like Manon and Merryn for girls but need more inspiration, have a love of Welsh and also Puritan names and have no idea what to call my baby if it turns out to be a boy! Help please!

If ever i have a boy, i'm definitely calling him Atticus. Brilliant name and a much loved character from my favourite book.

My understanding of classic eccentric would be like Victor, Donald, Richard. Noah is trendy/bible name, and virtue names are in fashion now. Your taste is of the moment really. (jmo) I like Hazel or Meryl or Miriam for a girl in your family.

Classic eccentric was the best description I could come up with really, but I take your point Ginger. Hazel is lovely and going on my list.

Yes, go for Atticus. Love it.

redhatnoknickers · 13/04/2013 23:48

I have a Barnaby and a Quinlan too, but my dh named them and I've never been 100% about those names, though obviously I can't imagine the boys as anything else now.
