What I you think? Do you think it's too masculine? I'm not a fan of very frilly or girls names but am worried other people might think it's ugly. I think I might just love it though.

Similar suggestions are welcome.

Oops... It should read 'girly' names not 'girls' names. Obviously I want a girl's name or our little girl!

Love it.

Ooo, I like the first reply. I might ignore this thread now in case everyone else says they hate it! Smile

I love it. Love it. Love it. This would be my first choice for a DD but I keep having boys and Ramon doesn't feel quite the same. Smile

Grin glad to have been of assistance Grin

I love it, met a baby ramona a couple of months ago and she was the cutest little dot!

janie2 · 28/03/2013 21:21

Love it for the same reasons you say I also like Romily (maybe it is Romilly) Smile

Matsikula · 28/03/2013 21:21

Love it too - it's super cool. I only have boys though.

MustTidyUpMustTidyUp · 28/03/2013 21:23

Very cool. Lovely. Do it.

Lintilla · 28/03/2013 21:24

Love it!

TolliverGroat · 28/03/2013 21:27

I really like Ramona. I flirted with it quite seriously for DD2.

beatricequimby · 28/03/2013 21:28

A yes from me (obviously, given my name). Have you read the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary? A funny, feisty, cool heroine If you have a Ramona you have to get them.

LittleMissLidl · 28/03/2013 21:28

Grin now no one I know had better use it in the next couple of months. I'm chuffed I've thought of a great name dh loves too as he was the one who came up with the winner for dc1. I'm too competitive to let him find the best name this time!

Beatrice - I vaguely remember reading one of them when I was at junior school but can't remember much about it

It's a great name, top of my list for my imaginary 3rd child!

PipkinsPal · 28/03/2013 21:31

Yay, I still have my Ramona the Pest book by Beverly Clearly. She's not really a pest but a lovely, funny, feisty, no-nonsense little girl who's very endearing.

TobyLerone · 28/03/2013 21:31

Love it.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 28/03/2013 21:31

Ooooo, haven't heard that name for ages. Love it.

PipkinsPal · 28/03/2013 21:32

And the little girl who plays Karen in Outnumbered is called Ramona too.

SanityClause · 28/03/2013 21:33

I loved those books! Yes! Go for it!

SoulTrain · 28/03/2013 21:34

I love it!!! It's a fantastic name! DH vetoed it though...Hmm

LittleMissLidl · 28/03/2013 21:36

Ok, enough now with the loving of Ramona... I don't want it getting too popular. I was a bit scared of the baby names board but now I think you're all lovely.

pipkins I think that was why it was in my mind. Does anyone else search tv credits for baby name ideas?
