Marjolaine
Ludmila
Narcissa

But I'd never use any of them, because I think a woman is better served by a sensible name in real life.

expatinscotland · 12/01/2013 20:49

Margetta or Jacquetta.

GirlOutNumbered · 12/01/2013 20:51

If I had had a girl, she would have been Evelyn.

hawkmcqueen · 12/01/2013 20:51

Leonora!

Say it out loud and it sounds like a beautiful piece of music.

Bagofmashings · 12/01/2013 20:57

Aurora.

soundstrue · 12/01/2013 21:02

Breagha (Bree-a), is Gaelic for beautiful. I think it's a lovely sounding word.
I've always liked Elise.

expatinscotland · 12/01/2013 21:06

When DD1 was alive, she met a French girl in Schiphol airport who was called Faustine. Sounded lovely.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/01/2013 21:09

Loving Esther Joy. Great name.

Anonymumous · 12/01/2013 21:50

My daughter's name is the most drop-dead gorgeous name I have ever heard in my life. I am actually jealous of her for having such a stunningly beautiful name. Said out loud, it sounds like a princess's name, and written down it makes me drool - I could stare at it for hours! Blush I can't type it here because it's too unusual and someone might identify me. But her first name has already been mentioned here a few times - so it's not just me! Grin

GetOrf · 12/01/2013 21:54

Oooh Athenais is absolutely lovely, as is Faustine. Never heard of those before.

KatyPeril · 12/01/2013 21:59

Iwillorderthefood · 12/01/2013 22:18

Meera

Morwenna

SarfEasticated · 12/01/2013 22:20

I would say Persephone too - beautiful story to back it up to. I also really love Tacita but it apparently mean 'silent' so not a great choice for a baby.

scarlettsmummy2 · 12/01/2013 22:21
