Lorelei, but I couldn't persuade DH when DD was born.

LentilAsAnything · 12/01/2013 18:59

Ignoring any meanings which may be negative, I like the sound and look of:

Fabienne
Seraphine/a
Evangeline/a
Francesca
Samantha
Ottilie
Aurelia
Serendipity
Genevieve
Indiana
Tatiana

I have not included my top girls' names though, in case I have a daughter. Top secret, and don't want them getting any more popular.

CheerfulYank · 12/01/2013 19:04

I love Aurelia. So beautiful!

I also love all the "sh" names...Saorise, Roisin. I shudder to think how they'd be pronounced where we live in Midwest America though!

Geranium3 · 12/01/2013 19:35

genevieve
daisy
isabel
anastasia
fleur

sparklechops · 12/01/2013 19:39

Susannah
Marianne
Genevieve
Liberty
Evelyn

Love all these - beautiful written down and said aloud.

NeverBeenToMe · 12/01/2013 19:42

Another vote for Aurelia.

Used to be Evie, and I deeply like (?) Marnie - but I don't think it's a 'beautiful' name IYSWIM

Sybilla but dh vetoed.
Rowan but dh vetoed.

pixi2 · 12/01/2013 19:57

I love Evelyn
Elvira
Emma
Tess
Tempany
Shaney (Shane-nee)
Anna
Eleanor/Elinor
Anais
Serena

When dd was born she was nameless for three days. In the end we had to compromise drastically. Dh wanted ruby but she had beautiful mahogany red hair when born and I said it'd be too cruel if she turned really red. She's blonde now. It's her middle name.

telsa · 12/01/2013 19:58

Antigoni
Juliet
Vivienne
Dolores

Trinpy · 12/01/2013 20:07

Another vote for Vivienne. I think Vivi would be such a cute nickname for a baby too. Will probably choose either Vivienne, Ingrid or Zsofia for any future dd.

I think Charlotte is beautiful but hate Charlie for a girls nn.

pumpkinsweetieMasPudding · 12/01/2013 20:13

Anastacia is the prettiest name i have ever heardSmile

CheeseStrawWars · 12/01/2013 20:16

Iolanthe

TorianaTollywobbles · 12/01/2013 20:16

Elisie, Alicia are quite nice Smile

DizzyHoneyBee · 12/01/2013 20:18

Persephone is great but I got really put off it after hearing a colleague pronouncing it incorrectly. Really wanted to correct her as all the children were doing it as well. Grrr....lol.
Ideal name if your next child will be called Florence.

greenandcabbagelooking · 12/01/2013 20:19

Arianna

MolotovCocktail · 12/01/2013 20:25

Grace, Lola, Mia, Sophia, Ella, Nuala (Noo-la), Pearl, Penelope.

ForeverProcrastinating · 12/01/2013 20:27

My all time fav is Demelza - ok, I admit, I was a Poldark fan and loved Angharad Rees' character - feisty and gorgeous.

DH firmly ruled it out completely for dd and she is Kathryn/Kate (sorry, loathe Katie).

lucysnowe · 12/01/2013 20:29

Celestine or to be OTT Celestia

ScrambledSmegs · 12/01/2013 20:35

Evangeline
Odette
Estella (as in Great Expectations)
Arianna
Rosamund
Loveday
Galatea (Ga-LA-tee-ah, all short a's)

All but the first vetoed by DH!
