Juno, Vivienne and Tabitha are my favourites

Snazzyfeelingfestive · 20/12/2012 22:26

Vivienne by a mile. Not mad about the others.

Snazzyfeelingfestive · 20/12/2012 22:26

Ah, seen last post, glad you are happy with your choice now!

GinSoakedMulberryBush · 20/12/2012 22:29

Vienne - no.
Juno - I like it
Vivienne - yeh but spell it Vivien. much more elegant
Liv - nice. simple
Tabitha - no.
Vianne - no, reminds me of viande, french for meat. so........no.

MoonHare · 21/12/2012 17:01

Tabitha by miles followed by Juno, not keen on the others but of the V names I'd rank Vivienne next.

Ignore the Tabitha's a cats name comments, the feline qualities are part of what makes it a fabulous name. And anyway I have never come across a real life cat called Tabitha. No-one ever says Tom is a cats name......

lljkk · 21/12/2012 17:05

I dislike them all equally.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 21/12/2012 17:05

My vote is for Liv.

flowerygirl · 21/12/2012 18:01

Vivienne is my favourite. A beautiful name, classy and glamourous and not very common.

Juno sounds like the name for a border collie!

I agree with MustafaCake, people will assume Liv is an Olivia.

Anouk sounds like a Lebanese restaurant!

amck5700 · 21/12/2012 18:43

I'd scrap the lot and have Vanessa - definitely the best "V" name :)

ellesabe · 23/12/2012 20:41

In order of preference:

Juno - love this
Vienne - interesting
Tabitha - ok
Vivienne - a bit 70s
Liv - sounds like it should be short for Olivia
Vianne - sounds like Viagra
Anouk - no!

Vivienne

That's the only one I like. Sorry

bedhaven · 24/12/2012 02:01

I'm biased as my DD is a Vivienne, I love that it's not popular now and hasn't been since the 50's but is still traditional and not odd. Not so keen on Vienne or Vianne but think prob as it sounds like you've missed a bit when saying Vivienne. Juno is really lovely, pretty but not flowery. Anouk is beautiful but your DD will need to look like an Anouk for it to work. Tabitha also lovely, I've known 2 excellent women called Tabitha and I never think of cats. All of your names are strong and indicate a certain character in my mind so you won't know until she gets here!

Startail · 24/12/2012 02:17

Vivienne
DF had a lovely flat mate called Vivienne. She had one of those personalised trains and I was Envy she had enough letters for it to look like a train. I don't not even in full and I never use my full name.

bedhaven · 25/12/2012 01:41

There you have the only downside of Vivienne...those wooden letters/trains you may have plenty of letters but two of each. Also who'd have thought there were so few animals beginning I or N? V seems fair enough! We have 2 vultures, 2 Elephants, 2 nautilus crabs and 2 iguanas! Perhaps I should have thought before I bought!

kissmyheathenass · 25/12/2012 01:52

I have Tabitha , its lovely.I like juno too. I know a Vivienne but she is horrible so bad associations with that name.

forgetmenots · 25/12/2012 07:50

Vivienne by a long way. Then Juno and Tabitha.

Would like Liv if its short for Olivia, and don't like the others but would prefer Vienna to Vienne or Vianne.

HormoneHell · 25/12/2012 07:56

Tabitha
Juno
Anouk
Vivienne
Liv
None of the others

SnowProbs · 26/12/2012 17:21

Liv is wonderful. A class above the others - just beautifully simple, feminine and unfussy.

Vivienne is very pretty, also.

Jojay · 26/12/2012 17:23

Juno a clear winner

serin · 26/12/2012 23:29

Vivienne
Tabitha
Juno
Anouk
Vienne

Hate Liv

MoppingMummy · 26/12/2012 23:35

Juno & Anouk are my faves.

ViviPru · 27/12/2012 18:37

Vivienne is a great name. Natch Wink
