I'd vote:

Juno
Vivienne
Anouk

I think 'Liv' as a choice would be a bit odd; what about Livia, if you don't like Olivia? It's a Roman name...

PorkusEnormous · 16/12/2012 22:14

Thank you for all your feedback :) still confused as ever ha!! ghost I think Liv is bottom on my list because of it's abruptness, and connotation with Olivia.

I like Anouk. To me it seems unusual whilst still pronounceable and sounds really lovely.

C0smos · 17/12/2012 08:03

They all sound a bit faddy, from Juno the film or from chocolat and Vivienne just feels like vivian which screams old lady

barbiecollector · 17/12/2012 08:06

Juno and Tabitha. Not keen on the rest.

YouCanBe · 17/12/2012 09:44

I like Juno the most.

YouCanBe · 17/12/2012 09:44

Tabitha second!

LondonElfInFestiveCheerBoots · 17/12/2012 11:59

Juno, then Vivienne then Tabitha.

Don't like the other names at all - the rest of the Vi- names look like you've misspelled Vivienne, and Liv on its own isn't a name IMO - nn for Olivia/Olive/Olivine or Elizabeth. Anouk is terrible, sorry, to me it sounds like a troll in a Terry Pratchet book.

simplesusan · 18/12/2012 00:06

I like Vivienne best followed by Liv.

lidlqueen · 18/12/2012 00:10

I do like Juno, it's a great name.

MerylStrop · 18/12/2012 00:12

I like Vivienne, and I kind of like Juno, but it's quite a lot to live up to.

Have you thought of Vita?

lidlqueen · 18/12/2012 00:15

yes Meryl is right, a small, slight, shy child called Juno....?

lottiegarbanzo · 18/12/2012 00:28

Vivienne or Anouk. Juno is nice too.

Vienne sounds like Vienna - Wien - which is odd, like calling her Berlin or London.

scarlettsmummy2 · 18/12/2012 00:28

I don't particularly like any of them. Sorry.

LeoandBoosmum · 18/12/2012 00:33

Hi, this is my first post so I hope I don't tread on any toes.
Just being honest: personally, I think Juno sounds like a dog's name, Tabitha - as someone else said - sounds like a cat's name. I am not sure about Anouk because it just seems too out there (for me)...it reminds me of Mork saying Nanook, nanook in Mork and Mindy. It also sounds like it's short for Anoushka which I dislike. I've never heard of Vienne or Vianne. Not sure about Liv.
I absolutely adore Vivienne as, even though it's a well-known name, it is not widely used but is very pretty without being overly girly. I know you didn't mention it but another fave of mine is Genevieve which I thought I'd just mention because you seem to like names with the letter 'V' :D

BOFingSanta · 18/12/2012 00:37

Good first post Xmas Grin. Welcome to MN.

Purplelooby · 18/12/2012 10:34

Top to bottom:
Vivienne
Anouk
Tabitha
Vianne
Vienne
Juno
Liv

MolotovCocktail · 18/12/2012 10:36

I like Liv, then Tabitha. Not keen on the rest, sorry!

telsa · 18/12/2012 12:24

Vian (that's the OE spelling I prefer, but pronounced really Vi-arn)
Tabitha
Anouk
Juno
Vivienne
Liv

Great names!

Muminwestlondon · 18/12/2012 12:29

Like Anouk the best. Juno reminds me of Juno and the Paycock. I used to know a Vivien who was lovely. Liv is the Scandi version of Eve I think and it is lovely but I imagine it will be mispronounced as "live". I don't like Vianne - sounds like Liane which I hate because I used to know a couple of really horrible ones.

Muminwestlondon · 18/12/2012 12:30

Leoandboosmum - what is wrong with Anoushka (ahem!!)

Vivienne
Vianne
Vienne

Then a gap...

Tabitha
Juno

Then a BIG gap...

Liv - I didn't know about its Scandinavian heritage. Just sounds like a syllable to me.

MargeySimpson · 18/12/2012 15:50

Sorry, hear Juno, think pregnant teenager.

PorkusEnormous · 20/12/2012 21:58

Thanks ladies for all of your feedback. DH and DD are really set on Juno. It got a lot of positive reactions here which I'm quite surprised by! I'm finding it hard to let go of Tabitha especially at the moment, but looks like I will be going with DH and DD as they are so certain, and I am fickle ;)
