I'd love to know, rather bored, what Mumsnetters have called their dcs if you love their names and are willing to share.

It'd be appreciated if this could be a criticism free thread. I'm pretty harsh with names myself at time, but this isn't the thread for it.

William

Charles and Jack

Surprisingly not as popular as I thought. There isn't another Jack or Charles/Charlie in the entire school.

Quentin

InNeedOfBrandy · 20/11/2012 18:34

Tianna and Tayon I expect that's quite chavvy to MN standards but I love them.

TiredBooyhoo · 20/11/2012 18:38

i'd love to share as i do love my dc's names but it would absoloutely out me to anyone who knows me so i wont.

but in response to your comment about people not being harsh. i think names are such a very personal thing that it really doesn't matter if someone else thinks they're awful. it really is so personal.

poppydaisy · 20/11/2012 18:42

And just because we may not like certain names doesn't mean we don't like the people with those names (and vice versa Smile). Also, associations change...

whistlestopcafe · 20/11/2012 18:47

Tobias and Felix.

casma · 20/11/2012 18:48

MolotovCocktail · 20/11/2012 18:51

Jayden Shock Kyle (A K name, the horror!) Caleb, Reuben and Barnaby (Barney)

That will complete out me to anyone who's ever met me, but I love all their names, even though it means my oldest can never be a high court judge. (I make sure to remind him regularly that he can't so he doesn't get ideas above his chavvy status. Wink )

thisthreadwilloutme · 20/11/2012 21:20

Joseph and Eve

MotherOfNations · 20/11/2012 21:22

Christopher, Shannah, Sheelan and Linah. I love all their names and they all really suit their names. I do sometimes wonder if Christopher is a bit boring though.
