I used to hate it, now I think it's kind of elegant, in a frosty Greta Garbo kind of way.

axure · 15/11/2012 12:49

I love it - sounds like the name of a sophisticated, intelligent woman.

delilah88 · 15/11/2012 12:55

Very cool, but I expect your daughter wouldn't like it until she was older.

VolumeOfACone · 15/11/2012 13:24

I really like it!
Cute nicknames too.

Doodler79 · 15/11/2012 13:25

I think it's fab!!

BarbecuedBillygoats · 15/11/2012 13:27

So many cute bear based nicknames until she's grown up enough for quite a grown up name. It's elegant

BonaDea · 15/11/2012 14:35

I think it's quite harsh sounding.

Pancakeflipper · 15/11/2012 14:36

I love it.

anothercuppaplease · 15/11/2012 14:38

SpringHeeledJack · 15/11/2012 14:39

german dimin for Ursula is Uschi

I love Uschi

stinkinseamonkey · 15/11/2012 14:43

I actually think its cool despite myself, it sort of reminds me of a nun's name (yes Sr Ursula).. but actually, I think picturing it on a kid its really quite different and cool and quirky and quite a nice relief from the candy-flossy-florally girls names about at the min

stinkinseamonkey · 15/11/2012 14:44

BTW think it goes best with single syllable surnames

RosannaBanana · 15/11/2012 14:46

Nah, not nice. Imvho eyc...

RosannaBanana · 15/11/2012 14:46

etc I meant!

TitWillow · 15/11/2012 14:49

Love it! Makes me think of Ursula Le Guin, a strong, intelligent, feminist!

thundernlightning · 15/11/2012 14:53

Ursula is a lovely name and I've known a few lovely women of that name. I wish Disney hadn't used it fora baddie.

orangefan · 15/11/2012 14:53

Love it, shorten it to Sula in our house.

CordeliaChase · 15/11/2012 15:28

Dislike. Makes me think of a big fat blue baddie in the little mermaid Sad

Dinnerdinnerdinnerbatman · 15/11/2012 15:32
