Elliot - for a girl?!

I've been thinking about this name for a while, and recently I've started to think it sounds really pretty for a girl. Am I alone in thinking this? We would probably go for something along the lines of Elliot Pearl/Elliot Grace.

Is this a stupid pregnancy induced idea?

You could shorten Elliot to Lio. I like that.

Why make it difficult for her by everyone assuming from a list that she is a boy? It will be Ellie, so you may as well use Eleanor ,or similar, from the beginning.
