These are the names I like today (let's bear in mind that yesterday it was Bede!).

What do we think?

Same order of preference as above ^

SheilaWheeler · 06/10/2012 18:33

Seth
Arthur
Bede
Tristan

Rutherford · 06/10/2012 18:37

^ same as sheila Grin

Indith · 06/10/2012 18:40

I have an Arthur, ds1 is good friends with a Tristan, it is lovely. I know several Seths. I like Seth but for my taste it is too short and nicknamey, I don't do 1 syllable names.

delilah88 · 06/10/2012 20:41

You are definitely moving in the right direction! Seth - love it. Tristan is ok but I've met some really wet ones. Would you consider Tristram instead? Arthur- ok, bit North London. Good luck!

delilah88 · 06/10/2012 20:42

I do like Tristan actually a lot. Arthur and Bede are your least good ones. What about Gawain? I think that is genuinely cool.

Brightonite · 06/10/2012 20:43

Seth most definitely - but then I am biased ;)

Blu · 06/10/2012 20:44

Seth or Arthur.

V cool.

olliesmum234 · 06/10/2012 21:11

Tristan is too 'triste' = sad for me, sorry.

Seth is nice, as is Bede.

LadyThompson · 06/10/2012 21:14

Arthur or Bede get my vote.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/10/2012 21:20

Don't like Seth. Bede is bonkers.

Love Tristan.

How about Bramwell/Bram? Similar to Bede but nicer. Or Roland - you sound like the kind of person who might appreciate the beauty of Roland.

AlwaysHoldingOnToStarbug · 06/10/2012 21:45

Yes to Tristan, Arthur and Seth. No to Bede.

Seth.

Deff.

NellyBluth · 06/10/2012 21:53

Seth is lovely, lovely, lovely. I think you should use it just because I really wanted to use it if we'd had a boy but I have a lisp, I honestly can't even say it Grin

DialMforMummy · 06/10/2012 21:55

I'd like to back Walt. Not that it was in your selection....

DialMforMummy · 06/10/2012 21:56

Otherwise Arthur. Dislike the others.

Clary · 06/10/2012 21:57

Arthur.

Tho Roland is nice too Remus but DH didn't like it

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/10/2012 21:59

Love Vincent but hate Vince.

Another 'oldie' favourite is Alain.

IWipeArses · 06/10/2012 22:03

May I offer - Arturo

freerangelady · 07/10/2012 09:15

I've never liked Seth as he's the Ancient Egyptian god of evil and all things bad!

OrangeFireandGoldashes · 07/10/2012 11:34

Tristan x 1,000,000

free range I thought that was 'Set' not 'Seth'.

RachelHRD · 07/10/2012 23:00

Seth but then I too am biased but I only know of one other at my DS school so still uncommon enough to be different Smile

RachelHRD · 07/10/2012 23:05

Yes that's wrong freerange Seth is actually a biblical name and he was the brother of Cain and Abel Smile
