Loving the thread about grandmothers names...so let's do grandfathers names

The thread on grandmothers names has given me loads of inspiration for DC2, so I'm now looking for the same for male names.

Mine were William and Ronald
DH were William and Harry

Peter and James

Williiam ( Willie) and Owen aka O

My grandfathers were a rather pedestrian John and Thomas, but I also have:

Albert (great-grandfather)
Wilfrid, called Wilf (great uncle). LOVE this name, St Wilfrid kicked ass too.
Humphrey
Nelson
Joshua
Thomas Alfred
Reginald James
Shadrach, Meshach, Elijah, St. Vincent - four brothers, Quaker family!

Mine were:
Hector (dad's side, Scottish- would love to use it for a little boy of mine one day)
Kenneth Kennedy (middle name after his mum's maiden name, and it's also my middle name after him. He died before I was born which makes me . Mum always said I take after him, would have loved to have met him.

DH's maternal GF was William Pattison, known as Patt (also after a maiden name), he was a lovely man.
His other GF died many moons ago and was William known as Bill.

Robert and Elden.

Great unlcles Francis (Frank), Esmond, Jack.

James (nn Jim) & Walter (nn. Watt)

Aubrey and John (aka Jack)

DH's GFs were Christopher and Ronald.

Joe and Fred.

Dennis and Roderick (Roddy)

Austin and Donald.
DH's were Frank and Les.

Stanley and Ewett

My grandfathers were Leonard and Stanley. Dh's were Kenneth and William.
Love Leonard, DH hates it.

Both were James

James and Thomas (Tom).

I had Eric and Ernie

Eric Alfred and William Ernest (known as Ernie)

Theodore and Frank here.

I LOVE the name Theodore.

Frank and Harold.

DH Fred and Kenneth.

I had Leonard and Raymond; DH's were George and Cyril

Leslie and Stanley.

Step grandad who died before I was born was William known as Bill.

Great grandad Percy known as Pops.

Evan and Aubrey

My great grandfather on one side was zephaniah which i think is fab!

Joseph ....... Grandmother was Mary.... Named NONE of their children Jesus..... Disappointed to say the least.

Thomas and Charles

My little cousin is now a Charlie, and Dsis was planning a little Tommy- but she's a she and going to be called called Lydia.
