The thread on grandmothers names has given me loads of inspiration for DC2, so I'm now looking for the same for male names.

Mine were William and Ronald
DH were William and Harry

Grandfathers were Cecil and Ebert. Friedrich Ebert was the name of the 1st German President when my grandfather was born just after the First World War in England to English parents. WTF were they thinking?! Confused

Great Grandfathers:
James
Fred (not short for anything)
Alfred (Alfie)
Walter

A leetle less scary...

Sylvester and James for DH.

Aloysius and Eustace for me. Eustace hated his name so much that he changed it to Hugh, my other grandfather always went by his initials. I actually like both names.

Arthur and Mario Dante Virgilio. My great grandfather got to the office to register his name and could not remember what he had agreed with my great grandmother. So he went with his favorite authors. It suited my Pop so well!

Percy (LOVE it) and Ronald for me.
Edward and Patrick for DH.

We will use Edward in some way for DS. Thinking actually of Edward Percy Surname.
