Loving the thread about grandmothers names...so let's do grandfathers names

The thread on grandmothers names has given me loads of inspiration for DC2, so I'm now looking for the same for male names.

Mine were William and Ronald
DH were William and Harry

Will be more obvious I grew up in Denmark here
Paternal grandfather Holger
Maternal Grandfather Evald
Step grandfather Soren

DH's
Paternal grandfather Harrold
Maternal Grandfather William

Wilfred Charles and Joseph John.

Arthur Stanley Cole (known as Art) and Thomas (known as Tom).

Great grandads were James Cole, Charles Edward, and Thomas

Mum's dad was James but was known by his middle name, Gordon. Dad's dad was officially Thomas but went by Walter (not his middle name though).

Dominick and Joseph

G-Grandads were Francis, Terence, Joseph and Ernest.

Frederick and Walter

ds1 middle name is william

David Thomas John Frederick and Stephen

My Grandad was Harry!!! Have a current thread about this as I want to name bump after him if it's a he and having argumens with DH over the popularity
He was Henry George officially, and my other one I didn't know but was called Tom.
Only know one of DH's - Walter Earnest - known as Wally! Bless!

Grandfathers - Peter and Fred.

DH's Leslie and Donald.

John is alright, at least!

Grandmothers are much more current, between us we have two Margarets, Patricia and Mary.

John and John. Yawn.

Raymond and Thomas.

If DD2 had turned out to be a boy I was fighting for Raymond as a middle name. One of my biggest regrets is that Grandad died before I met DH. They would have got on famously - although I'm not sure the rest of us could have handled two of them with the same sense of humour!

William but always called Bill and Frank

Charles and David.

Maternal gf - Wojtec
Paternal gf - Henry, known as Harry

mine were George and Lancelot -I kid you not!
everyone knew Lancelot as Fred, I only found out his real name at his funeral!

OH's were Jack and Gordon!

Arthur and Elijah (known as Bob)

Ernest and Joe

Kenneth and Gerald

Mine: Martyn & Andre.
DH's: Hubert & Bertram.

mumofjust1, love Wojtec! DH dismissed it for DS, not a fan of any of ours but go back another generation and I love them all!

Mine (GF and GGF)- Allan, John, Albert, Joseph, William, and Richard
