Loving the thread about grandmothers names...so let's do grandfathers names

The thread on grandmothers names has given me loads of inspiration for DC2, so I'm now looking for the same for male names.

Mine were William and Ronald
DH were William and Harry

John and Joseph
Great-grandfather was Andrew
DS2 is Andrew

My grandfathers were Donald Bertram Scott and Arthur George, but as my Dad is 102, he's probably closer to the 'grandparents generation' for most people on this thread. He is Donald Frederick Stuart, though he's always been known as Stuart.

Mine are Michael (Mick) and Robert (Bob). I asked DH and he is making this face: as he can't remember his maternal gf's name, but does know his other grandad was called Stanley (Stan).

-mix of dads and Granads- have used 2 of them, 1 without even realising it was it was his real name as he's always been referred to as something else!

Sean and William. Great grandads were Jack and Thomas. I love all of their names.

William (known as Bill, but mostly as 'Weem), and Harry. DHs were Sydney and Edward.

DP's: Frederick and Jeffrey

They actually invented car navigation systems....

Feels really nice to acknowledge them like this - Samuel died when my DM was 4 and William when I was 5, so thank you for the thread OP.
