I think I like old fashioned names - anyone care to share what their grandmothers/great-grandmothers were called.

GM - Elizabeth Mary
GM - Elizabeth (lilly for short)
GGM - Alice-Maud (what I was nearly called but GM said GGM hated her name, no idea why!)
GGM - Mary

GMil - Elizabeth Reida
GMil - Elizabeth Joan

Me and DM also have a Elizabeth in our name so if I ever have a DD she will be Elizabeth too (Betty for short)

Not much inspiration in our families Grin. All the men seemed to have been called Thomas or David too. My family tree looks very uninspiring when written down!

Sylvia and Anne

Petty Prudence if your DD ever complains about her family name you can point out it was that or Maud.

In our case we had Margaret, Rose and Bernadette! I hope no one called Bernadette feels hurt by this but err no. Just no.
