What were your grandmothers called?

I think I like old fashioned names - anyone care to share what their grandmothers/great-grandmothers were called.

Stella and Rose were my grand-mothers
Evelyn and Pearl were my DH's

My grandmas were both Brenda. Can't see that having a renewal :-)

Annie., Dorothy, Florence and Dora.

Helen & Elsie

Lillian and Jeannie.

Nellie and Edith known as Edie.

Gwyneth and Clara

Winifred (Winnie for short) and Monica. Actually they're still with us! At 91 and 81 respectively. Note- these are not likely to make it onto the short list for my unborn child!

Eliza (nn Liza) and Margaret (nn Peggy). Great-aunts Eleanor (nn Nellie), Winifred (nn Winnie), Victoria (nn Queenie) and Elizabeth (nn Betty). Eliza and Elizabeth SILs not sisters, that would have been weird!

I remember my surprise when a colleague announced she was calling her daughter Eliza - this would have been about 9 years ago so I imagine she was one of the fairly early adopters of reclaiming it from being a little old lady name.

Mine were Anne and June, DH's were Joan and Grace

DH's were Mary and Mary. Oh, and they were married to Thomas and Thomas respectively

DH's Lulu, which I ADORE and if we ever have a girl that will be her middle name. Can't use it as first name unfortunately as too close to my name, but that's okay because one of my great grandmothers was called Rosina, so we can use that instead ; )

Also had great grandmothers called Eleanor (Nell) and Gwendoline, and great aunts Margaret and Muriel.
