What were your grandmothers called?

I think I like old fashioned names - anyone care to share what their grandmothers/great-grandmothers were called.

DH had a selection of aunts whose names included Christabel, Tabitha. Dilys and Eluned :)

Helen and Patricia. Great grannies were Mary and Isabella (pronounced eye sabella).

Dh's were eunice and Nancy.

Grandmother was Catherine - known as Cate or Catie. Her sisters were Elizabeth (lizzie). Audrey (Aud), Emily (Em), Louisa and a brother John. Their parents were Joseph and Amelia.

Mine were Lucy and Jean, my husband's were Lily and Hannah. If we ever had twin girls I would give them Lucy and Lily as middle names.

My grandmothers were called Joan and Elizabeth. I was thinking about Elizabeth for dd, but my mum gave me the look that I would give dd if she suggested mil name for her dd.

I once asked DH what his gm are called, he thought for a while and said "nana".
