A sister for Cecilia???? Margaret?

Hi, DD1 is Cecilia (3yo) and DD2 arriving very soon! (4wks) remains unnamed..

DH pushing hard for Margaret... I was totally against it, but said perhaps I would agree if we went with Margo or Maisie as a nickname. I do not care for Maggie as the nickname but realize she might be called this anyway.

How are people feeling about Margaret these days?

Fiona (though we are living in the US now and everyone says "Oh like Princess Fiona from Shrek", when I say this name)

I think Margaret is a fantastic name because it's so versatile.

It travels well, with many localised versions (Marguerite, Margarita, Margrethe etc)

So many nns to choose from! Margo, Maggie, Margi, Madge, Peggy, Meg .... Rita, Greta ... and because of the meanings you can even go right away to Daisy and Pearl.
