Lily-something?

or possibly Something-Molly perhaps?

Along the lines of Lily-Beth, or Hannah-Molly.

Not May Rose or Grace though.

All ideas gratefully received! Smile

Rose?

ILoveOnionRings · 01/04/2012 14:26

sorry didn't read your post Blush

Flightty · 01/04/2012 14:26

Hmm difficult....I can't think of many things that aren't as you say, completely ubiquitous.

You could probably use just about any name after Lily so it depends on what you like, yourself.

MollieO · 01/04/2012 14:26

What's wrong with Lily on its own? Hannah-Molly sounds very odd to me.

McPhee · 01/04/2012 14:27

Lily-Victoria

No worries ILoveOnionRings Grin

Not keen on Lily on its own as here just are so many of them.

doctordwt · 01/04/2012 14:33

I must admit to not being a huge fan of hyphenated names.

if you don't like Lily on its own as it's so popular then why not choose something completely different?

or go for a Lily-ish name like Lilith, Liliana, Lila, Lilia, Lilian

iHeartTheoJames · 01/04/2012 14:40

I know a Lily-Dawn and a Lily-Pearl

CremeEggThief · 01/04/2012 15:02

Lily-Ella? Lily-Faye? Or thisisyesterday's suggestions? I like Lila.

CuffingChunt · 01/04/2012 15:07

Agree with doctordwt don't do it. Hyphenated names are awful.

GoGoBananas · 01/04/2012 15:11

The woman on the bus (that's her full name) has a Lily-Jane, Libby-Rose and Maddie-Grace. Only I know from her dp's tattoos that they're actually Lillee-Jain, Libbee-Roze and Maddee-Grayce. My love of hyphenated names is inversely proportional to TWOTB's spelling abilities.

jetstar · 01/04/2012 15:13

I agree that you shouldn't do it - sorry

PosiePumblechook · 01/04/2012 15:15

As an owner of a hyphenated name please don't do it. Mine's okay but I'm 37yr and there were none really when I was born. But nowadays hyphenated names are horrid and barely anyone says the last bit. Hence I fought my DH tooth and nail to ensure dd didn't have one.

sweetkitty · 01/04/2012 15:19

Totally agree with Posie in also the owner of a hyphenated name two 70s stuck together.

Lily's pretty on its own.

Lily-Katherine

JulesJules · 01/04/2012 15:26

Lily-Milly or...Lily-Lolly-Landy Grin

But actually I wouldn't do it. Just go for Lily. If you want it longer than Lily, why not Lilyana or Lilyanne.
