I don't like it.

perplexedpirate · 19/03/2012 22:25

Horrid. Sorry.

chandellina · 19/03/2012 22:27

didn't Charlize Theron just adopt a boy named Jackson? get in quick before it gets too popular!

FilterCoffee · 19/03/2012 22:35

It's a surname.

RichManPoorManBeggarmanThief · 19/03/2012 23:45

I like Nathan but Charlie Brick is a very cool name.

Makes me think of the johnny cash song

EllenParsons · 20/03/2012 15:11

I think of Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie, who kind of makes me like the name even though it would not normally be my style. I am not really into surnames as first names. I'd say I am neutral on Jackson but do like Jack.

bobbledunk · 23/03/2012 01:26

Too American, Jack is lovely thoughSmile

smokeandglitter · 23/03/2012 01:43

[Michael] Jackson

Yep. That's my association. Wink

SodoffBaldrick · 23/03/2012 06:29

The more I think about it, the more I like it. Jackson Brick is a great name, and if you love Jack, it's a fab nickname.

I wouldn't go too much by UK reactions to the name (in the nicest possible way). :)

TuftyFinch · 23/03/2012 06:34

I love Johnny Cash and that's what I first thought of when I read your post. I do like Jackson as a name. Kate Atkinson has a character called Jackson Brodie.

Clawdy · 23/03/2012 07:15

If I'd been a boy, would have been called Jackson, after my dad's hero, the American jazz trombonist,Jack Teagarden. Sounds fine to me!
