Thanks

Not too keen on either, but I'd go for Erica. Pandora sounds like Pandas to me.

Tolalola · 17/03/2012 20:14

Ugh, or Dora

Daya · 17/03/2012 20:14

Does the bracelet shop put you off at all thunderboltkid ? It makes me hesitate a bit about using Pandora as I think the bracelets are a bit naff.

I actually really like Erica (not the usual style of name I like), not keen on Pandora.

AThingInYourLife · 17/03/2012 20:16

Erica by a mile. Pandora is naff.

Firstdayofspring · 17/03/2012 20:56

Erica is lovely. Pandora is bonkers.

Panzee · 17/03/2012 20:57

I am profoundly in love...

pinkyredrose · 17/03/2012 20:59

Love Pandora, she'd probably get nicknamed Box though al la Adrian Mole!

Erica is lovely. (I always want to pronounce it Eureka though!)

33goingon64 · 17/03/2012 21:38

Sorry I hate both. That doesn't help really does it?

saltcod · 17/03/2012 21:41

Erica. Pandora just makes me think of Adrian Mole too!

I love them both - they're both classic, feminine and currently underused names!

FuriousRox · 17/03/2012 21:59

Erica all the way.

Pandora's box - released all the evil spirits into the world. Or something. Might be appropriate round toddler time though....!

Erica

nizlopi · 17/03/2012 22:14

Love Erica, but please not Pandora!

Adrian Mole springs to mind!!

Daya · 17/03/2012 22:23

firstdayofspring i am worried that Pandora is a bit bonkers... plus really don't want panda as a nickname... or dora really though find Pan nice enough.

I don't think the adrian mole thing bothers me, wasn't she ok in the books - just a bit posh.

Erica much safer choice but don't want to be a boring.

Erica is great.

Pandora reminds me of the Rhys Ifans character in Notting Hill, who tells Hugh Grant's character that he knew a Pandora once.....never got inside her box though. Best avoided.

missmiss · 17/03/2012 23:22

Erica, although I do love Dora as a nn. In fact, either is lovely!

I don't think Erica is at all boring, by the way: to me, it's one of those names that is so unfashionable nowadays, it's become interesting again.

SodoffBaldrick · 18/03/2012 00:33

Erica.

Baffledandbewildered · 18/03/2012 00:54
