Silly sibling name choices

Heard a couple of these recently -

Harry / Henry
John / Jack
Isabella / Belle (seriously)

Really??!!!

Do people not realise one is a nickname for the other?!!!

I was friends with a Hannah at school who had a sister called Anna - thought it a bit odd at the time!

I know of a Dilani and a Dylan...

I have met a Sam and Ella.

Honest!

I saw matching kids bikes parked next to each other in the bike racks in the forest centre we go to last week end. They both had those little name number plates on -"Samuel" and "Eleanor", hope Eleanor is not nn Ella like my niece.

i know of a Ben and Holly, which are both nice enough names btw! its just that the cartoon of course of ben elf and princess holly that makes me a bit about their names, i am sure as they get older the cartoon will fade into oblivion tho as these things do :)

I can't see that it matters a jot. These are individual human beings who will be leading independent lives in a very short time.

I know a Charlie and Lola, which always makes me chuckle.

Harry/Henry, John/ Jack are four different names to me.

They are certainly used as such at our school.

Isabelle, Bella and really similar sounding twins like Harriet/Harry are clearly daft.

Laurel and Hardy...no not really!

Did meet a Charlie and Lola on a campsite though.

I did used to know identical twins called Antwon and Antonio.

I also knew a Tara and Tamara and a Michelle and Shelley.

Kieran and Kyran not twins.

I know identical twins called Lorraine and Lorretta

I know a Charlie (Charlotte) and Lola.

I also have a friend who is married to Dick who's dcs are Tom and Harry.

Triplets: Julie, Julia & Julian.

I know brothers named Jack and Daniel. From very nice family (and their other two sibling names are non-alcohol related), but it does raise eyebrows among everyone.

I know of two boys named Jack Daniel (and several Daniel Jacks, although that doesn't raise eyebrows in quite the same way!)
