Both are lovely. Would probably go for Beatrice as Beatrix is a bit similar to Bellatrix but then again Harry Potter probably won't be as big a phenomenon by the time your DD is at school!

it's lovely. my 19 year old niece is Beatrice. She lives in Belgium so pronounced Bay-ah-trees. Lovely
