Baby names - To go with Matilda and Archie

Hi, I am currently pregnant with a baby girl who is due in June. I am looking for names that match my other children's names, there is Matilda who will be 4 in March and Archie who will be 2 in May. Any suggestions for first or middle names or both would be greatly appreciated.

Astrid leapt to mind although I have no idea why as it's not a name I ever thought of before. I knew an Archie with an Esther as a sister.

Congratulations!

Genevieve Rose

Not that keen on Astrid, But Esther is pretty. Anyone got any other suggestions?

Matilda and Archie are very trendy names, so I think you need another trendy name to "match"...

Amelia/Millie
Chloe
Eva/Evie
Lily
etc...

Beatrice
Deliah
Scarlett
Tallulah
Clara
Lillian
Cordelia
Louisa
Eliza
Helena
Elouise

Personally think Lillian goes well! Smile

My husband is keen on Beatrice with nn Beattie but i'm not so sure about it and i don't think it really matches that well.

One of their cousins is called Lily, so i think lillian might be too similar

Oooh, I think Beatrice is a lovely choice :)

tildaandarchiesmummy · 13/02/2012 16:57

Does anyone have anything against Rosie - do you think it goes well. Any middle name suggestions

Rosie is nice for a little girl, but would she be Rose officially?

I actually think that would go well with your other kids' names and although it's very popular as a middle name, not too overused as a first name.

How many syllables is your last name?

tildaandarchiesmummy · 13/02/2012 17:02

Our last name is Williams, not sure on Rose as a name i like the ie sound, like in Archie.

Oh ok, yeah the plant Hebe is very pretty but not to keen on my name - could be tricky for classroom teachers to pronounce - although i like trendy names i would like people to have heard of the name before. Thank you for the suggestion though.
