I like them in the order you've put them 1. Miles 2. Liam 3. Damian.

woolly76 · 07/02/2012 10:50

Miles!!!!

jaggythistle · 07/02/2012 11:00

Miles :)

Arwhen · 07/02/2012 11:55

Miles

hulabula · 07/02/2012 12:54

Love Damian.

Miles is the plural of mile and is like calling a child Kilometres.... unless you're not in the UK (where miles are used to measure distance).

rachel234 · 07/02/2012 12:58

Damian and William (Liam) are lovely. Not keen on Miles, sorry.

Doozie · 07/02/2012 13:02

ditto popcorn!

LilyBolero · 07/02/2012 13:03

Miles

LaFilleSurLePont · 07/02/2012 13:16

Miles. Definitely Miles. It's lovely, and works well at any age.

PosiePumblechook · 07/02/2012 13:17

Awful, awful and awful. Miles is dull and the other two are what rough people call their kids, sorry.

PosiePumblechook · 07/02/2012 13:18

In my neck of the woods...

Meglet · 07/02/2012 13:19

Miles.

lisaro · 07/02/2012 13:27

Miles is not great, to be honest and I have to agree wit Rosie - the other two are used by people of a certain err type volume.

Matildathebrave · 07/02/2012 13:42

I LOVE Liam not keen on the other two though.

Never heard of any of them being rough names????

LikeItsGolden · 07/02/2012 14:09

Miles is my favourite, but also like Liam a lot.

Damian reminds me of 666 / devil etc, sorry!

The snobbery about Liam is really sad to see. It is a lovely, old Irish name and not 'used by certain people' at all in Ireland.

Hate that kind of snobbery!

flipflopper · 07/02/2012 14:17

Prefer Miles, not keen at all on Liam or Damian

lisaro · 07/02/2012 14:22

likeitsgolden It's not snobbery - it's tainted the name for me. And yes, it is/was a beautiful Irish name, and more widely used there. But this isn't Ireland, and the fact remains that generally over here it is used by people in a way that sounds awful - ie shrieked, accompanied by abuse very often.

droves · 07/02/2012 14:27

Miles .
its a good name . it sounds nice , it writes nice.

Liam is ok , but ruined for me by hearing to many fishwifes screaming LEE-AAAAM.

Damien , just makes me think of the omen films...or fools and horses ..SORRY Blush

SandStorm · 07/02/2012 14:28

Miles

Liam although nice reminds me of Liam Gallagher and I don't like him.
Damien reminds me of 666 and Del Trotter's son. Don't like it at all.

Montsti · 07/02/2012 14:35

Not keen on any of them - sorry but we just have different tastes in names. William is lovely but nn. Will not Liam...not helpful sorry!

ChickensGoMeh · 07/02/2012 14:38

I prefer Liam (Irish DH), don't mind Damien but very much dislike Miles. Not sure why though.

notso · 07/02/2012 14:42

I love Miles/Myles and Liam.
Can't decide which is best out of them.
I don't think Liam is anywhere near as popular as it was.

Don't like Damien at all.

PercyFilth · 07/02/2012 16:27

Miles, definitely.

Liam is OK if it's short for William.

Damian, oh god I can hear the music already Shock

Superfly · 07/02/2012 19:53
