Lovely or hideous?

Forgot to say...middle name would be Emma and DD1 is Jemima.

Hmmm ....i prefer Mabel.

The only one I know is 70+ and there are much nicer old lady names. It's not as bad as Hilda or Gertrude.

I have a really thoroughly unpleasant great aunt called Muriel and she is a vicious hag. So for me it's a big no-no.

But then I love Muriel's Wedding.... . How about Mariel?

Emma and Jemima are lovely why not have Muriel for a middle name.

This is about the worst name you could possibly give a child. Seriously it is just hideous.

I think it's actually a lovely name it just seems to have 'old bag' connotations. If you just say the name it's quite melodic and not at all harsh like Ethel. Due a comeback I would say !
