Pick one - Kit* or Reuben?

*Christopher would go on the birth certificate but he would be called Kit.

Kit. But be prepared for him to have his own ideas about shortenings.

funnypeculiar · 17/01/2012 12:45

Kit - love Kit! Plus don't like the shortenings for Reuben.

funnypeculiar · 17/01/2012 12:45

But agree with seeker Smile

Love Kit Smile.

Ponders another baby to accommodate the name....

MrsMcEnroe · 17/01/2012 12:51

Reuben. IMVHO!

pinkhebe · 17/01/2012 12:53

Another vote for Kit

evamummy · 17/01/2012 13:00

Kit (Christopher).

sparkle12mar08 · 17/01/2012 13:02

Honestly, either are gorgeous and I love both!

kitsmummy · 17/01/2012 13:02

Definitely Kit, what good taste you have Grin. Why not just Kit though, then you won't have any chance of him being called Chris or Christopher. My Kit loves his name and it's not a kids name that will be silly when he's older

canistartagainplease · 17/01/2012 13:04

KIT

thisisyesterday · 17/01/2012 13:04

Kit, definitely

Ragwort · 17/01/2012 13:04

Another vote for Kit.

TheSurgeonsMate · 17/01/2012 13:35

Kit, please.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 17/01/2012 13:44

I say Kit and DD agrees because it reminds her of a kitkat Hmm

R2PeePoo · 17/01/2012 13:47

Reuben.

But bear in mind he will spend a lot of his life being spelt as Rueben.

I like Kit too though

missimills · 17/01/2012 13:51

Kit....brilliant name.

TheCrunchUnderfoot · 17/01/2012 14:15

Kit!!!! (if you call him this from babyhood, Chris is unlikely to take a hold)

RillaBlythe · 17/01/2012 14:16

Either! Reuben has the edge IMO.

usingapseudonym · 17/01/2012 14:17

I like Kit... but as a girl's name! All the Kits I know are short for Catherine, Kitty, etc.

Montsti · 17/01/2012 14:24

Not keen on either but much prefer Kit.

JestersHat · 17/01/2012 15:50

Reuben is much nicer.

Not keen on Kit (twee, and reminds me of cat food)

lostlady · 17/01/2012 15:51

Kit, love it

mummymeister · 17/01/2012 15:58

Wait til he arrives and choose then. we had 2 names for my son and he ended up with neither because they didnt look right on him and we called him something we didnt even have on our list because thats what he looked like! Reuben sounds like puffy faced child and Kit like the car off night rider or maybe thats my age!

MamaLazarou · 17/01/2012 16:02

Kit. You can't move for Reubens these days but I've never met a Kit.
