This name came to me in a moment of pregnancy induced madness and I really like it! I haven't put it forward to DP yet but it is likely to be instantly vetoed. When you think of the name do you think of the fastest milkman in the west before anything else? Should I shove it to the back of my mind and never let it surface again or is it due a comeback?

My cousin Ernie drove the fastest milk cart in the west actually :)

kumquatsarethelonelyfruit · 07/01/2012 17:36

NO

becclestown · 07/01/2012 17:59

My DS, 5 months old now, is Ernie. Ernest Peter to be exact, so he can use his middle name if he doesn't love it like we do!

becclestown · 07/01/2012 18:02

We were more Hemingway and Shackleton inspired than Benny Hill. But his Granny can't seem to shake it.

Monstrosity · 07/01/2012 19:50

I absolutely love Ernie (Ernest on birth cert) and it is a front runner on our short list for DC2. If you love it as I do go for it. Everyone I've mentioned it to hasn't been keen either but it hasn't swayed me!
