Trying to decide on DC2's name and struggling. We have a DS called Jude and I love this name: not weird but not über-popular and suits all ages. This is the goal for DD but it's hard! Plus, Jude was my choice and DH reckons his vote should take precedence this time....

What are you honest thoughts on these and do you have any other suggestions?
The middle name will be Jane.

Tallulah (DH's favourite)
Delilah
Ophelia
Estella
Cora
Miranda

Thanks.

Tallulah (DH's favourite) - no, bugsy malone!! also just not keen, does sound like a stripper
Delilah - no, the song, the story with samson and just don't like it
Ophelia - love and if I wasn't a superstitious theatre maker I'd have it on my list
Estella - surprisingly I actually really like this name
Cora - LOVE
Miranda - it's nice, but a bit "grown up" for me

I like Cora best and also think it goes beautifully with Jude

Delilah don't like it

Estella ok
Cora old lady's name
Miranda old lady's name

I like Tallulah but worry about what friends would call her for short, such as Tally??

I think Estella is very beautiful, reminds me of Great Expectations. Also think Ophelia is lovely.

How can you worry about "Tallly" as a nn and not worry about Ophelia!?

Seriously, the only Ophelia I knew growing up was universally known as "Tits".
Oh-feel-ya-tits ... gedit? Soooo funny when you're a kid and sooooo easily changed to whichever body part is most liekly to provide most embarrasment.
