What's the consensus on Rudy?

DH is stuck on Rudy if DC turns out to be a boy. I need a bit of convincing, I like it, but not sure it's for me. Any thoughts?

I love it, I tried to get dp to agree to it each time I was pg but we had 4dd's so no chance to use it. Dp couldn't get the song out of his head which is why he had reservations.

My DC5 is called Rudy.

Rudylicious.

I love it obviously.

It has the added advantage of having a song that his brothers can sing roar at him as we are going along in the car.

Rudolph/Rudolf is not quite ready to be cool imo. I know a few middle aged German men named this (nickname Rudi) so associate it with that age class.

And in English you cannot name a child a name that is pronounced Rude-ee Grin. Sorry, but I really dislike it.

Rudy-Trudy. Terrible name IMO, sorry.
