Just idly canvassing opinion as I love it but cannot guess how well it would go down, generally.

DH says it's too Troy. I like it. I don't know any though.

Is it awful?

Reminds me of the nursery rhyme Hector Protector. Don't really like the name. I imagine it being cried out in a shrill vairy vairy posh voice: Heeeck-toooooooooorrrr! Not a fan.

I like it, but then I should DS3 is Hector, we don't really shorten it, although sometimes I do call him Hec. Not sure why we chose it, it took a long time of him being called baby before we decided on it, it was the first name we both agreed on.
