we are not now going to have a boy (2 DDs, which is fab), but we were going to call any son Aoghan (ay-gon) - Irish name meaning 'little fire'. You can spell it Aogan too. Loved it, sorry we can't use it

DS ended up with top 20 first and middle names. First name is quite common but I liked it.

And girl's unusual reject- Shiloh. Love the name. Didn't like what was then a clear Angelina Jolie connection.

Some lovely names here. The two that got away for me were Cora and Merle. I love them both but wasn't quite brave enough!

dd2 should have been Florence but I thought it may be too flouncy for our working class area and schools so she is now Tessa, She is 8 months and I look at sometimes and think she should have been Florence

DP is not a fan of more uncommon names :( DD is Isla, in the top five in Scotland I think, though saying that I have never met another Isla.
