It's now old enough to be classic.

Like.

BabyMaking2011 · 12/02/2011 20:18

lovely

SlightlyTubbyHali · 12/02/2011 20:25

I think it is sweet.

Tuschinski · 12/02/2011 20:34

Like it lots

QuestionNumber · 12/02/2011 20:36

Not to my taste, sorry

usualsuspect · 12/02/2011 20:37

Awful

novision · 12/02/2011 20:38

I have one. He's lovely and so is his name :o

DramaInPyjamas · 12/02/2011 20:57

A remake of the movie 'Arthur' starring Russell Brand is out this April.
Just so you know - incase things like that tend to change your opinions on names.

Not keen on the name Arthur myself though tbh

lia66 · 12/02/2011 20:57

love it. :)

traceybath · 12/02/2011 20:58

I have an Arthur and love it.

Have had lots of lovely comments on it too.

rachel1970 · 12/02/2011 21:02

Really dislike Arthur, sorry.

traceybath · 12/02/2011 21:04

Really I chose names that we liked and remember those who don't like it - well you'd probably hate their favourite names Smile

tammy234 · 12/02/2011 21:11

Awful, sorry.

traceybath · 12/02/2011 21:13

Arthur is not an awful name - its lovely and romantic and chivalrous and strong.

BakewellTarts · 12/02/2011 21:17

I love Arthur if I ever had a boy it would be my first choice...I think of the once and future King...

DH on the other hand hates it and cites Arthur Daley...

I guess its a good job we only had girls....

traceybath · 12/02/2011 21:19

Yes you see I never really think of Arthur Daley or Fowler but just of King Arthur.

grubbalo · 12/02/2011 21:19

I have one too and so love it! Bit disappointed to hear about the Russell Brand thing, he's not exactly my favourite actor! Agree with Tracey that if you like it, then just go for it - if we all liked the same names then life would be very boring!

evamummy · 12/02/2011 21:20

I'm not keen on Arthur, sorry.

traceybath · 12/02/2011 21:20

I like you Grubbalo! Wink You have very good taste.

Teaandcakeplease · 12/02/2011 21:24

My neighbour has a 5 year old son called Arthur, I love it and he's a gorgeous little boy too. Not that that is necessarily relevant Grin

BornToFolk · 12/02/2011 21:28

Bloody love it and won't be able to use it (doesn't work with DP's surname) so please use it on my behalf!

SameOldJollster · 12/02/2011 21:43

Love it, but was my dad's name, and therefore DS MN, so am biased.

AllieW · 12/02/2011 22:00

Love it. Name of our 3 month old DS.

reddaisy · 12/02/2011 22:03

I can't decide. Part of me loves it and part of me hates it as it is just too old man and I worry that I am getting swayed by it being a bt cool right now.

BarbieLovesKen · 12/02/2011 22:05

Thank you so much all (keep 'em coming!!)

reddaisy I think Im exactly the same over it to be honest.

DH seems to really like which Im absolutely shocked by as its not the "type" he'd usually go for... hmm...
