Can't sleep as I have name issues.

We're having a baby girl in two weeks and we have it down to three names.

Anna, Daisy or Tabitha (Tabby)

WHICH IS BEST?

Anna. Definitley. I am biased though Wink

hatwoman · 10/02/2011 00:46

Anna. the other two are a bit twee for my liking

ThisFeelsWeird · 10/02/2011 01:18

Anna, Anna, Anna. Beautiful classy name. The other two are a bit cutesy for me.

washingmachinefiend · 10/02/2011 01:18

I love Tabitha, that was my girl name which I never got to use Sad as I have 3 lovely sons Smile

though I feel duty bound to warn you that my lovely SIL said, when we had DS3, "what was that awful name you were going to call a girl again..something to do with a cat...thank goodness you had another boy"

she's a charmer Hmm

Nancy66 · 10/02/2011 07:42

Tabitha

Daisy is very overused and Anna is dull.

littlemisslozza · 10/02/2011 07:46

Anna is classic and timeless. Not overused either.

I find Daisy a bit cutesy, and there are lots around, and agree about the cat link with Tabitha, sorry. I do know two baby Tabitha's now though so maybe I will lose that association soon.

CharlieBoo · 10/02/2011 07:48

Everyone will say Daisy and Tabitha too cutsey, but I love them...very pretty names, whereas Anna for me = boring.

doricpatter · 10/02/2011 07:50

Anna. Beautiful, classic, simple.

Daisy's really common these days and Tabitha's really just not my taste.

Rhubarbgarden · 10/02/2011 08:37

Love Anna and Tabitha. Both on my shortlist

Hedwig3 · 10/02/2011 09:29

Anna

onimolap · 10/02/2011 09:31

They're lovely. I like Tabitha most.

AllieW · 10/02/2011 09:32

Anna (although I tend to prefer Annabel, if I'm honest).

Tabitha reminds me of cats/witches (sorry) and Daisy never seems like a name for a grown-up. Having said that, I don't mind Daisy as a nn for Margaret.

Hassled · 10/02/2011 09:33

I love them all. Tabitha is a great name but people will think of a cat.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 10/02/2011 09:34

AnnaAnnaAnnaAnna
Tabitha is a cat's name and Daisy is so ubiquitous. Fact. Smile

flower38 · 10/02/2011 11:22

Anna lovely
Daisy ok
Tabitha. Really don't like

freshmint · 10/02/2011 11:30

anna is lovely, classic, works in any language - beautiful name

daisy is a bit twee and little girly

tabitha is a good name for a cat

jellybeans · 10/02/2011 12:30

I love them all!

claustrophobicclown · 10/02/2011 13:08

They are all beautiful. I think you will just have to pull one out of a hat.

flopsy1974 · 10/02/2011 15:05

Anna by a long way.

YumLemonCheesecake · 10/02/2011 20:01

Tabitha - Love hopefully will use one day!

Daisy - Like but would worry when she's older

Anna - Boring

MelinaM · 10/02/2011 20:05

Tabitha or Anna, absolutely adore Tabitha! Daisy is a bit blah imo, and fast becoming very popular! x

Edmundo · 10/02/2011 20:41

Anna. It's a timeless beauty!

cheapFlower · 10/02/2011 20:43

this is easy - ANNA!

BikeRunSki · 10/02/2011 20:44

Anna

The other two work for a baby, but not a grown up. I know a 40 yo Daisy and I can;t bring myself to call her by her name.

Tillylove · 10/02/2011 20:48

I love, love Tabitha but dh isn't keen and sadly it doesn't go with our surname.

We have a Daisy and I know it is very popular but we are in the North and I think it is less used as there are very few in our neck of the woods. Appreciate it's v cutesy but I really like that old cutsey/twee style!

Anna is lovely too - very classic and traditional.

You have good taste x
